Antiretroviral Herbal Remedy

Professor Duo Gao, a leading authority on Chinese Herbal Medicine, developed a formula composed of a number of natural herbs with significant antiretroviral properties. It was first tried in 2001, it resulted in the successful elimination of viral count and restoration in immunity level.

During the subsequent years, this treatment was provided to patients in the UK through various retail herbal clinics across the country. A large number of patients from South Africa also received this treatment from Professor Gao’s free treatment project between 2005 – 2006.

This formula has consistently lowered viral load and enhanced immunity counts for patients with varying profiles while producing absolutely no side effects even at higher doses.

This significant safety characteristic has been confirmed by an animal toxicity study carried out by reputable Chinese laboratory as well as the large number of patients who received this treatment.

In-vitro studies have confirmed that the herbs used in this formula can produce significant performance in the inhibition of reverse transcriptase, protease AND integrase, giving it significant power in preventing the replication process of the virus. It also means that this formula can produce comparable results to a combination of reverse transcriptase inhibitor, protease inhibitor and integrase inhibitor but without the side effects from taking such combination of conventional antiretroviral drugs.

How Does It Work?

In-vitro studies on the individual ingredients of this formula have shown that they are able to suppress the activities of different viral enzymes: Reverse Transcriptase, Integrase and Protease (See table below). By suppressing the viral activitities, the virus will not be able to reproduce itself. This will lead to the gradual decline in viral load. The suppresion of viral activities should also protect uninfected CD4 cells from further attacks so we can expect this treatment to also result in the stabilisation of immune counts followed by gradual recovery. This medicine is not intended to directly increase the CD4. It is primarily designed to suppress and eliminate the viral population. Consequently, the body's natural regeneration of the immune system will lead to the recovery of CD4 count when there are less viral activities attacking the uninfected CD4 cells.

This formula targets all 3 viral enzymes by combining different antiretroviral ingredients together. This means that when this formula is taken at sufficiently high dosages, it could produce results at least equivalent to that of combining all 3 classes of antiretroviral drugs (Reverse Transcriptase Inhibitor + Protease Inhibitor + Integrase Inhibitor) together but without the severe side effects such combination therapy could produce. Therefore it is superior to any individual conventional antiretroviral drugs, which are designed to target only one of the three viral enzymes.

In many cases, due to the severe side effects from conventional antiretroviral drugs many patients are unable to tolerate cocktail therapies, where a combination of different classes (Reverse Transcriptase Inhibitor i.e. Epivir, Integrase Inhibitor i.e. Raltegravir and Protease Inhibitor i.e. Lexiva) of antiretroviral drugs are prescribed in order to achieve better results. This medicine is an effective alternative if not a superior solution.

The results from our in-vitro studies (see table below) form the basis for the development of a new formula, which will be ready for trial at the end of 2008. It will consist of only the most potent ingredients thus should allow patients to achieve the same results while taking a significantly smaller dosage or significantly better results at the same dosage. We expect the new formula to have the same safety profile as what we have seen from the current formula.

Treatment Journal:

Since the inception of our free treatment programme in June 2007, we have used the blood test reports collected from patients from all over the world to help us find new ways to improve the results of this treatment.

Since the beginning of 2008, we began studying the effects of different dosages on the results and safety profile. You can find some of the on-going patients’ test reports at http://www.hivsupport.co.uk/patients.php

0.5 x 3 produced little result, free from side effects

1 x 3 produced moderate result (up to 20% reduction in VL over 2 – 3 month period*), free from side effects

2 x 3 produced significant result (up to 50% reduction in VL over 2 – 3 month period*), free from side effects

3 x 3 results due in September/October, free from side effects

4 x 3 results due in November/December, free from side effects

3.5 x 4 results due in November/December

The positive correlation between dosage and result confirms that this medicine works and we may see proportionally better results at higher dosages.

*Estimates only, actual results will vary from patient to patient and may be exceeded in some cases.

Free Treatment

We can ship the medicine to anywhere in the world in discrete packaging and patients can receive this treatment completely free of charge. Currently, we have patients from USA, UK, Romania, Sweden and Hong Kong undergoing free treatment.

Our objective of this programme is to collect blood test reports that could help us improve the result of this treatment. They will also serve as material proof that will be essential for the recognition of this medicine by the rest of the world.

If you know someone who may be interested in this opportunity or believe you can benefit from this yourself, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us. We will always do our best to help.

We do not currently have any financial partners/sponsors for this programme so all expenses associated with the free treatments are borne by Dr Gao himself. Once we have identified a suitable financial partner for this project, we will fulfil all of the regulatory requirements to obtain authority approval so that every patient can benefit from this medicine as a main stream antiretroviral drug.

How to Qualify:

Mandatory Requirements:

1. Provide an up-to-date (no more than 2 months old) blood test report containing at least CD4, viral load, patient ID, clinic ID and date. Forward the report either via email (preferred) to hiv.support.2001@googlemail.com or fax to +44 (0) 208 395 5662.

2. In order to continue with the treatment, blood tests must be carried out at least once every 3 months and the report forwarded to us in the same way. Shorter intervals will make it easier to track a patient's progress.

3. Patients who are taking other antiretroviral treatments will not qualify for the free treatment even if blood test reports are available.

Recommendation:

For patients who can afford to pay their own shipping costs, your shipping contributions of any amount up to the full shipping cost (see below) will mean a lot to us. They will reduce our financial burden and will be immensely appreciated. For your peace of mind, shipping contributions can be deferred until after a package has been delivered so there will be nothing up front to pay. You will not be responsible for costs associated with any packages lost in the post.

Shipping costs: (refer to royalmail.com for postal prices)

- UK: Free

- EU: EUR20 or USD30 per box*

- Rest of the world: USD50 per box*

* Each box weighs approximately 2kg and contains 2 - 4 weeks of medicine depending on dosage
